Functie:

• Guide project teams as automation expert and support in the design, development and implementation of flexible and lean processes, state of the art techniques and efficient toolings

• Support manufacturing teams where needed

• Initiate and implement improvement ideas

• Follow up evolutions in automation to stay a trendsetter in this area

• Point of contact for external contacts to support our automation projects.

• Influence the design for Automation and testability to ensure cost-effective test solutions and smooth production flows.

• Design, develop and implement flexible, lean processes and state of the art test solutions.

• Analyze and implement technical solutions in order to increase quality, productivity and speed within production.

• Master in Engineering or IT, specialized in automation is a plus

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Know how in optics, mechanics and visualization techniques and applications is a plus

• Knowledge of program languages (C#, .net, scripting languages,…) is a plus

• Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC, visualization, motion control, robotics, agv, …)
